Natural Building and Healthy Home Symposium

Join organizers for a full day on May 11th for the Natural Building and Healthy Home Symposium.

At the symposium, attendees will learn how natural building practices and non-toxic materials can be used to create homes that are more healthy, more affordable, and more in harmony with nature.

The Symposium offers presentations, discussions, and live demonstrations about Natural Building Practices and Healthy Home Design. The morning session (9-11:30am) will focus on the impacts of conventional building materials on human health and chronic illness. The mid-day session (1-4pm) will discuss Natural Building and Design strategies that can improve human and planetary health. The FREE afternoon session (4-6pm) offers hands-on demonstrations and interactive conversations with our panelists/speakers. Please see more information on our poster, attached below.

This event is co-hosted by The Crosshatch Green Building Guild and The Canary Homes Initiative (a group of Michigan-based designers, builders, and healthcare professionals that is actively working to provide natural, non-toxic, and affordable alternatives to conventional housing models and increase the overall well-being of our community).

Coffee and tea will be served throughout the day, and Lunch will be provided by Oryana.

Tickets are $45.
