2019 Environmentalist of the Year

This Year's Keynote Speaker: Frank Ettawageshik

Our 31st Annual Environmentalist of the Year Awards & Celebration on April 26 is the premier environmental celebration in northern Michigan.

This year's guest speaker will be Frank Ettawageshik, Executive Director of the United Tribes of Michigan. He is a traditional storyteller and potter, believing that native people need to be rooted in their traditions in order to be prepared for the future.

Once again, the NMC Native American Group is co-hosting the event!

Music will be provided by Seth Bernard & Friends as part of the program.

Doors open at 5:30 PM for check-in. Enjoy drinks and local hors d’oeuvres by Taproot in the Dennos Museum atrium. The program starts at 7:00 PM in the Milliken Auditorium.

Online Ticket Sales Closed - See You at the Event!

Tickets at the door will be $30, Students $10
