The Michigan Bluebird Society is very pleased to announce the 15th Annual Spring Bluebird Festival. This is a day of fun and education with the focus on Eastern Bluebirds and other cavity-nesting birds in the state of Michigan. This event is geared toward any individual, family or group who is interested in learning how to use nest boxes, feeders, plantings and land management to encourage nesting birds such as Bluebirds. Some of the advantages of attending this informative, fun filled day are:

- A Bluebird Expert Panel Discussion - Get all of your Bluebird questions answered!

Keynote Program: Captivating Bluebirds by renowned photographer, naturalist and author Stan Tekiela who wrote the book of the same name! Mr. Tekiela will be available to sign copies of his books.

Local film maker, photographer and naturalist Charles St. Charles will provide an exciting video preview of his soon to be completed documentary film on the nesting cycle of Eastern Bluebirds.
Don't miss this amazing program where you'll see incredible never before seen footage of the bluebird raising their young. - Bluebird Nest Box Building Workshop - Take home a nest box to put up in your yard
- Educational exhibits on Bluebirds and other native birds
- A Bluebird Expo - where you can purchase Bluebird nest boxes, poles, accessories and more. (All proceeds after costs go directly to help Bluebird conservation in Michigan.)
- Talk to experienced Bluebirders one-on-one
- Master Gardeners wil be on hand to answer your gardening questions. They will have free informational handouts on many subjects.
