The Au Sable Institute invites you to attend a Live Webcast with Sandra Postel titled, "Replenish: The Virtuous Cycle of Water and Prosperity." The event will be held Friday, January 10, at 12:30pm at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 1050 Peninsula Drive, Traverse City, MI.
The Live Webcast begins at 12:30pm and we will have a discussion at 1:30pm to discuss the lecture and implications for northern Michigan. Bring your brownbag lunch and arrive a few minutes early. Refreshments will be provided.
Sandra is speaking at Calvin University as part of the annual January Series lectures. A leading authority and prolific author on global water issues, Sandra has been hailed for her “inspiring, innovative and practical approach” to promoting the preservation and sustainable use of freshwater.
The Au Sable Institute inspires and educates people to serve, protect and restore God’s earth. We are especially interested in encouraging churches in northern Michigan to play an active role in the wise stewardship of the created world.
