Farms, Food and Health: Cultivating Community Resilience

This Thursday evening, March 14, the public is invited to attend a free event that will explore important information about the health impacts of Adverse Childhood Experiences and organizations working to support our community's resilience. The program, titled Farms, Food & Health: Cultivating Community Resilience, is valuable for all types of health care providers, teachers, social service workers and for anybody dealing with stress themselves or within friends and family.
 
The City Opera House doors open at 4:30pm, and the welcome from Dr. Megan Stilwill begins at 5:30pm., followed by a showing of the documentary film Resilience: The Biology of Stress & the Science of Hope. A panel discussion  and question/answer session with the audience follows.
 
Tickets are free at the door, but to guarantee a seat you can reserve online at farmsfoodhealth.org.
