Since 2013, Deborah and James Fallows have traveled to small communities in every part of the country. In each town they visited they talked with teachers, business creators, mayors, religious leaders, students, artists and architects, librarians, and others involved in shaping their community's future.
On July 25 and July 26, the Fallows will be visiting Northern Michigan for two events during which they will share what they learned from communities across the country which, we hope, will inspire attendees to take action and create solutions as we celebrate success in our own towns and strive to build healthy, resilient, thriving communities. We're grateful to Green Elk Rapids for their partnership and leadership in helping make both of these events possible.
Join the Community Foundation on Friday, July 26 at 10am to hear personally from the Fallows what they learned from communities across the country. Event registration is $15 and includes entry and light refreshments. All event proceeds will benefit the Focus Fund Endowment-a Community Foundation Local Impact Fund that broadly supports communities across our region.
