Make Detroit the Engine of the Green New Deal

In just one week from today, the eyes of the nation will be on Detroit as presidential candidates gather to debate our future.

Will you march with me and the Frontline Detroit Organizing Committee on Tuesday, July 30 as we unite to tell the story of Detroit and demand a new kind of leadership?

The rally will begin at 4pm at Cass Park, where we'll meet with a dozen other organizations who put the climate and health of our communities above all else. At 5:30pm, we'll march to the debate and challenge candidates to walk in the shoes of the people they represent.

The people of Detroit have the power to be the engine of the Green New Deal. Let's make sure their voices, as well as the voices of other Michiganders who care about the climate, will be heard.
