On March 15th, 2019 Michigan will join the movement and strike to show the climate crisis is the most important issue humanity faces. Strikes will be taking place all across America along with over 40 countries across the globe! If you care about the future of our planet please join us!  We will meet at the Open Space on Saturday, March 15.  This event is organized by the Central High Environmental group.  We are looking to the community for support.

Students striking to demand the following:
1. A reduction in greenhouse gas emissions in line with the October 2018 IPCC Special Report on Global Warming
2. World leaders come together and take action that ensures global warming remains under 1.5 degrees Celsius
3. U.S. leaders implement the Green New Deal and other legislative actions that help to solve the climate crisis
